It is a colonial-style house, completely restored as a hostel. it was built in 1944 and designed by cuban architect max borges recio (1916-2009), who belonged to the modern movement of the mid-twentieth century and made original designs as the cabaret tropicana where he used novel structures.
Currently the house is inhabited by the owners, a young couple who had the idea to use it as a hostel, opening it on december 2015. it has large, bright and well ventilated spaces.
Easily accessible and located in a quiet and safe neighborhood, just 500 meters from the historic “Plaza de la Revolución”, a public square in the city of havana and one of the largest in the world with 72 thousand square meters. it is located in the municipality of the same name and just minutes from other attractions such as the “old quarter” of old havana.
